Comments
When visitors leave comments on our website, we collect the data shown in the comment form — including your name, email address, and the comment content itself — along with your IP address and browser user agent string. This information helps us detect and prevent spam.
Comments are held in a moderation queue before appearing publicly. We do not share your email address or IP address from comments with any third parties beyond spam detection services.
Media uploads
If you upload images or other media files to this website, you should be aware that these files may contain embedded metadata known as EXIF data. This can include location information (GPS coordinates), device information, timestamps, and other details embedded at the time the file was created.
Visitors to our website may be able to download any media files you upload and extract this embedded location or metadata from them. We strongly recommend stripping EXIF GPS data from images before uploading them to avoid unintentionally sharing your location.
Before uploading any image, use a tool like Windows File Explorer (Properties → Details → Remove Properties) or a free EXIF-stripping app to remove location data.

Spam detection: Visitor comments and form submissions may be checked through automated spam detection services. These services may receive your IP address and content for analysis.
Legal obligation: We may disclose personal data if required to do so by law, court order, or competent government authority in India.
How long we retain your data
We retain different types of data for different durations depending on how it is used:
Comments: If you leave a comment, the comment and its associated metadata (such as your name and IP address) are retained indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognise and approve follow-up comments from the same person without holding each one in a moderation queue.
User accounts: For users who register on our website, we retain the personal information provided in their profile for as long as the account remains active. All users may view, edit, or delete their own personal information at any time — except their username, which cannot be changed after registration. Website administrators can also view and update this information.
Session and cookie data: This is retained only for the duration specified in the Cookies section above and is automatically deleted at the end of that period.
